Vallindras distillery

Vallindras distillery has linked its name with the history of Naxos. It is here, in the village of Chalki on Naxos, that the famous Kitron liqueur is produced, which comes in three types. These are the yellow, which contains no sugar, the white with a little sugar, which is preferred by the locals, and the green, which contains more sugar.

A further distinction is also made according to the alcohol content. In particular, yellow is the strongest, followed by white, while green is the lightest. The Vallindra distillery has been producing this liqueur for five generations, in a beautiful space that strongly resembles an old manor house.

The distillery is situated in a beautiful location in the centre of the village, and the current owners still use the old recipe to create this amazing liqueur. It is worth mentioning that the citrus liqueur "Kitron", apart from being very tasty, is also considered an excellent digestive.
