Established in 1996, the Apeiranthos Museum of Natural History on the island of Naxos offers a captivating exploration of the island's diverse ecosystems. Divided into two sections dedicated to land and sea, this museum provides an immersive experience into the region's rich natural heritage.

Of particular interest are the 260 classified land and sea shells native to Naxos, as well as a collection of 300 dried plant specimens from the Apeiranthos region.
