Information

Kalantos is situated at the southernmost point of Naxos island and overlooks the small Cyclades island of Iraklia. The beach is sandy, with clear and shallow waters. Near the beach, a river flows, creating a rich wetland that serves as a stopover for migratory birds when they first arrive in Naxos. The wetland is also home to various other bird species. There are a few tavernas and cafes located near the beach. Kalantos is 42 km away from Chora, and there is no bus connection available. You can reach Kalantos by car via the road that goes through Filoti village.
