On the western side of the village of Keramoti and approximately a 45-minute hike away lies the Routsouna Waterfall, which is created by the river flowing from the Fanari and Koronos mountains. The waterfall is about 20 metres in height and forms a small lake surrounded by beautiful lush vegetation. The Routsouna Waterfalls are most spectacular during spring and early summer, when the increased rainfall creates a thunderous display of water. However, the falls can be visited year-round and provide a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Visitors should note that the trails leading to the falls can be steep in places, and it is advisable to wear appropriate footwear and hike slowly and cautiously.
